It aims to strengthen safeguards for women, children, and Filipino migrant workers facing different forms of violence and exploitation.
The proposal also seeks to involve internet service providers in addressing harmful online content associated with abuse.
Hontiveros said the expanded protections would help ensure that Philippine laws respond to evolving forms of violence and technological developments.
