A historic delegation from the Philippine Air Force, led by Col. Michael “Mikee” Romero, participated in a five-day public affairs workshop at the United States Space Force Buckley Base in Colorado from February 16.
The workshop, hosted by the US Air Force Reserve Command, marked the first official professional event held at a US Space Force installation with PAF participation.
The event provided a platform for exchanging best practices in strategic communication, media engagement, and crisis management, while enhancing mutual understanding and institutional capabilities.
Romero emphasized that such international military cooperation strengthens the skills of PAF reservists and reinforces defense partnerships with the United States.
The workshop also underscored the enduring alliance between the Philippines and the US, highlighting commitments to interoperability and enhanced collaboration among allied air and reserve forces.
