GMA Network plans to revamp its TV shows and enhance its online content to counter declining ad revenues caused by lower program ratings and a shift in viewership to digital platforms.
In 2024, the network’s revenue dropped six percent to P17.57 billion due to these challenges.
GMA is also expanding its digital presence, reporting a 14 percent increase in subscribers and a corresponding rise in digital revenue.
The company aims to grow earnings through film production, content syndication, and other non-advertising sources.
Additionally, GMA continues its collaboration with former rival ABS-CBN on joint content projects like the upcoming season of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
