Gilas Pilipinas will open its FIBA Asia Cup 2025 campaign against Chinese Taipei on August 6 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The team will then face New Zealand on August 7 and wrap up its Group D games against Iraq on August 9.
Gilas has a mixed history against both Chinese Taipei and New Zealand, with notable wins and losses in previous qualifiers.
The top team in the group will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the second and third seeds must go through a qualification round.
The Philippines aims to improve on its 9th-place finish from the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup in Indonesia.
