The Swim League Philippines-Behrouz Elite Swim Team (SLP-BEST) Patriots capped the 2025 Asian Open School Invitational Short Course Age Group Swimming Championship in Bangkok with six gold medals and two new records on the final day.
Leading the charge was Behrouz Mohammad Madi Mojdeh of La Salle-Greenhills, who swept three golds, broke two meet records, and finished the tournament with seven golds, one silver, and five records overall.
His younger brother, Mikhael Jasper Mikee Mojdeh, also delivered with two golds, two silvers, and a bronze in the boys’ 10-year category.
Other Filipino standouts included Elisa De Kam, who won gold in the girls’ 14-year 200m freestyle, and the Waskiewicz sisters, who added silver and bronze medals.
Team manager Joan Mojdeh lauded the swimmers’ resilience and said the team proved they could compete against Asia’s best.
