The Department of Education Cebu City Division, in collaboration with a private partner, will launch the Palarong Pambansa app to enhance the national sporting event’s organization and participant experience.
Scheduled for release on Friday, the app will be available on both Android and Apple platforms, providing comprehensive details on game schedules, venues, and accommodation.
Assistant superintendent Adolf Aguilar highlighted that real-time updates on medal standings will be a significant improvement, addressing previous delays.
The app will also feature live streaming of all sporting events, allowing spectators to follow the action remotely.
This initiative marks a milestone for Palarong Pambansa, integrating technology to boost engagement and accessibility during the event hosted by Cebu City from July 6 to July 17.
