EMERGENCY HOUSING RELIEF REACHES 1,000+ FAMILIES IN CALOOCAN

Over 1,000 families in Caloocan City received financial aid under the Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) on September 14, part of the National Housing Authority’s Handog ng Pangulo initiative.

Each family was given ₱10,000 to help with urgent housing expenses.

The program is a partnership between the NHA, Caloocan City Government’s Housing and Resettlement Office, and the Social Welfare and Development Department.

Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan expressed gratitude to the NHA and emphasized the city’s commitment to improving housing security, noting ongoing projects like the Deparo and Banker’s Residences.

He also highlighted efforts to assist residents in obtaining Certificates of Entitlement for Lot Allocation (CELA) to provide them with more stable housing.
