The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has introduced driver’s license renewal through the eGovPH mobile app to simplify the process and reduce in-person visits.
Applicants can renew their licenses by downloading the app, completing identity verification, uploading license images, and submitting a compliant self-photo.
Renewal requires completing an online medical exam via the LTO Telemedicine platform and a five-hour Driver’s Enhancement Program module.
After fulfilling these requirements and paying online, users receive an electronic driver’s license with the same validity as the physical card.
The LTO also offers physical license delivery by courier or pickup, aiming to make licensing faster and more convenient for motorists.
