The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is enhancing its service delivery through digital innovations as part of its 74th-anniversary celebration. Secretary Rex Gatchalian introduced the Paspas Gobyerno Information System (Paspas G-IS) to improve transaction processing, automate tracking, and enforce the 3-7-20 rule for faster public service. The Harmonized Electronic Licensing Permit System (HELPS) was also launched, reducing the registration and accreditation process for social welfare agencies from six months to as little as two weeks. Additionally, the MTA portal now allows for the online processing of travel clearances for minors, eliminating physical document submissions. These initiatives align with the Marcos administration’s push for government digitalization to improve efficiency and service quality.
