DROPPED CASE RECORDS TO BE TURNED OVER TO OMBUDSMAN

The Office of the Ombudsman is set to receive evidence from cases that were previously dropped, as authorities seek to determine whether the records warrant further investigation.

The move could help identify overlooked evidence and possible administrative or criminal liabilities involving the individuals concerned.

Officials are expected to review the documents before deciding on the appropriate legal action. Any reopening or continuation of a case would depend on the evidence available and applicable legal procedures.

The development underscores efforts to examine case records and ensure that allegations are assessed through the proper investigative process.
