President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Dr. Lea-Grace B. Salcedo as the new Deputy Director General for Operations of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).
Salcedo previously served as Director IV of ARTA’s Finance and Administration Office and as regional chief of the Northern Luzon Regional Field.
She brings extensive experience from government and academia, including roles at the National Security Council and as a professor at the Philippine Military Academy.
Salcedo holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Management, and continues to pursue a master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Regulatory Management Systems.
ARTA Secretary Ernesto Perez highlighted her specialized training and research achievements, which will support her oversight of the agency’s Compliance, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Better Regulations Offices.
