The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced that senior office equipment technicians can now benefit from special eligibility for government positions without taking the Career Service Examination.
Under CSC Memorandum Circular No. 10, positions such as Senior Office Equipment Technician A and B are now included in the equipment technician eligibility under Category II.
To qualify, individuals must complete one year of “very satisfactory” performance in a temporary role.
Applications can be filed after this period if the applicant remains in the same position. Detailed information on requirements is available on the CSC website.
