Mayor Abby Binay announced that for the seventh consecutive year, the Makati government has received an “unmodified opinion” from the Commission on Audit (COA), indicating adherence to financial reporting standards.
COA National Capital Region Director IV Maria Carmina Paulita Juguilon-Pagayawan relayed the audit result, confirming that Makati’s financial statements were prepared by applicable frameworks.
Binay praised city departments, offices, and institutions for their strict compliance with COA policies, emphasizing the city’s commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.
