Capital1 Solar Spikers strengthened its roster for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League season after acquiring former MVPs Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos.
Team owner Milka Romero announced the signings following the Cignal HD Spikers’ leave of absence from the league.
Capital1 also signed setter Jaja Maraguinot through free agency, boosting the team’s lineup for the new season.
Star player Bella Belen said she helped convince Gandler and Santos to join the squad during the recent PVL All-Star festivities.
The Solar Spikers are now seen as stronger title contenders after finishing eighth in the previous conference.
