Preparations are underway for the 35th Mindanao Business Conference (MINBIZCON) 2026, which is expected to gather around 800 to 1,200 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and international delegates in Cagayan de Oro City.
The event, set on August 11 to 13 at the Atrium of Limketkai Center, marks the sixth time the city will host the major business gathering organized by the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the local government.
Oro Chamber president Almarco Brito said an investment forum will headline the opening day, focusing on policies that promote regional investment and economic growth.
Recommendations from the forum are expected to be submitted to local legislative bodies in Misamis Oriental to help guide future economic strategies.
Organizers expressed confidence that the conference will strengthen business ties and boost development opportunities in Mindanao.
