BULACAN AND 13 MUNICIPALITIES EARN GOOD GOVERNANCE RECOGNITION

Bulacan has won its eighth consecutive Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award, continuing its streak in the prestigious contest.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced on November 14 that Bulacan, along with its four cities and 13 municipalities, passed the assessment across all ten governance areas.

Governor Daniel Fernando expressed pride in the achievement, highlighting that the province’s “People’s Agenda 10” aligns with the criteria for financial sustainability, disaster preparedness, health, education, business competitiveness, and more.

This recognition covers 714 local government units nationwide, with awards set to be presented during the SGLG National Awarding.

Fernando assured residents that the province’s progress aligns with its goal of becoming a first-world province.
