BINAY PUSHES FOR GREATER JOB STABILITY AMONG CITY HALL WORKERS

Makati Mayor Abby Binay announced that her administration has granted permanent status to 1,695 casual employees and promoted 914 regular workers to enhance job security and improve city hall service delivery.

Since 2017, the city has implemented various reforms, including converting 698 job order personnel to casual status and promoting 704 qualified casual workers for consistent performance. 

The mayor also led a ceremony honoring 207 long-serving employees with cash gifts, plaques, and wristwatches, as part of the Loyalty Service Award program, which has spent P83.5 million on financial incentives to date.

Additional employee benefits include the Makati GSIS Group Personal Accident Insurance Program, performance-based bonuses, step increments, and night differential pay.

Binay emphasized that motivated and secure employees are essential for efficient governance and better public service to Makati residents.
