Disaster response officials said all individuals reported missing after the landslide at the Barangay Binaliw dumpsite in Cebu City have now been fully accounted for.
The Bureau of Fire Protection confirmed that the last body was recovered at 5:41 a.m., bringing the death toll to 36.
Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak said all fatalities were male employees of Prime Waste Solutions and its four subcontractors, with K-9 units from Iloilo playing a crucial role in locating the victims.
Authorities have completed search, rescue and retrieval operations, while post-operation assessments and site monitoring continue.
The city has declared a state of calamity, observed a day of mourning, and tapped P30 million in emergency funds to support response efforts and ongoing waste management needs.
