Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who received a record-breaking 1,030,730 votes in the May 12 midterm elections, is preparing to begin her third and final term with a focus on improving social services and infrastructure.
Her comprehensive agenda includes expanding city-funded scholarships, increasing social pensions for solo parents, seniors, and PWDs, and registering residents for free medical care under the PhilHealth Konsulta Package.
Belmonte also highlighted the full operation of the Baesa Crematorium and Columbarium, offering free cremation services and affordable columbarium spaces.
Major infrastructure projects, such as the redevelopment of Quezon Memorial Circle and Amoranto Sports Complex, and the construction of a new government center and health facilities, are also planned.
Belmonte aims to leave behind a more empowered, resilient, and compassionate Quezon City by the end of her final term.
