BARNES, MOLDE, AND TAMAYO DOMINATE ICTSI JUNIOR GOLF IN DAVAO

Jamie Barnes of Cagayan de Oro clinched his fourth straight title in the boys’ 7–10 category at the ICTSI Apo Golf Junior PGT Championship, finishing with a three-under 141 total. 

Barnes, who has won all four legs this season, now holds 60 points and is poised to qualify for the ICTSI North vs. South Elite Junior Finals in October. 

In the girls’ division, Davao native Soleil Molde secured back-to-back wins with a 159 total, while Brittany Tamayo of South Cotabato triumphed in the girls’ 11–14 division with a 146, narrowly edging out Shane Baroquillo. 

Jared Saban dominated the boys’ division with a seven-shot win, carding a 148 total. 

The junior tournament showcased top young golfers from across the country, many of whom are emerging as promising talents on the national stage.
