Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza and host-comedienne Melai Cantiveros-Francisco each donated P100,000 to aid victims of the recent 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Cebu.
The quake, which struck on September 30, caused hundreds of injuries and several deaths, with aftershocks continuing in the following days.
Barbie, an ambassador for Save the Children Philippines, contributed to support urgent relief efforts focused on children affected by the disaster.
She emphasized the importance of protecting and educating children even in difficult times and called on others to join the relief efforts.
Meanwhile, Melai’s donation was confirmed by Bisaya content creator Randolph Valmoria, who praised her generosity and transparency in supporting fundraising activities.
