The family of late Australian businessman Kevin Weldon has donated his collection of prehistoric Philippine pottery to the National Museum.
The turnover event was held at the Philippine consulate in Sydney on May 30, coinciding with Philippine National Heritage Month and the 79th anniversary of Philippines-Australia ties.
The donation honors Weldon’s deep appreciation for Philippine heritage and symbolizes the enduring friendship between the two countries.
National Museum Director General Jeremy Barns expressed gratitude, highlighting the collection as a valuable gift to the Filipino people.
