During a lengthy 13-hour House of Representatives hearing, Antipolo 2nd District Rep. Romeo Acop questioned Katherine Cassandra Li Ong’s selective responsiveness, noting she answered questions from certain lawmakers while avoiding others.
Acop highlighted Ong’s reluctance to respond to Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gerville Luistro but her ease with 1-Rider party-list Rep. Ramon Rodrigo Gutierrez and Santa Rosa City Rep. Dan Fernandez.
Ong explained that her initial reluctance was based on legal advice, and her responses to specific lawmakers were coincidental.
Acop also inquired if Ong had discussed matters with Fernandez outside the hearing, which Ong confirmed, stating it was limited to one instance.
The session revealed Ong’s connection to Whirlwind Corporation and Lucky South 99, confirming their interconnection through her business dealings.
