The Las Piñas City government distributed school supplies to 850 students on July 4 to support children from low-income families and ease back-to-school expenses.
Mayor April Aguilar led the event held at the Mayor Nene Aguilar DRRMO Building in Talon Dos, alongside SK Federation Chairperson Rey Angelo Reyes and CSWDO head Lowefe Romulo.
Each student received a bag filled with essential supplies such as notebooks, a lunchbox, a scientific calculator, and an umbrella.
Mayor Aguilar emphasized that the program not only helps families financially but also encourages students to be prepared and motivated for the school year.
The initiative highlights the city’s ongoing commitment to education and youth development under Aguilar’s administration.
