75 MORE OFWS RETURN FROM LEBANON

Seventy-five overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their dependents returned from Lebanon, bringing the total number of repatriates to 1,191 OFWs and 52 dependents. Upon arrival at NAIA, they received financial aid, livelihood assistance, and educational vouchers from government agencies. Livelihood programs and employment opportunities are offered through the DMW’s National Reintegration Center for OFWs. Free medical checkups, medicines, and psychosocial services are also provided, addressing health and trauma concerns caused by the conflict and workplace abuses.
