The Marcos administration launched the Bagong Pilipinas Youth (BPY) movement, chaired by presidential son Vinny Marcos, to empower Filipino youth during National Youth Week 2025.
The event also opened the BPY Hub in Mandaluyong City, a space for youth collaboration and innovation.
BPY aims to foster leadership, civic engagement, education, and creativity among young Filipinos through various projects like voter registration, mental health caravans, and leadership training.
Vinny Marcos emphasized the movement’s role in promoting youth leadership as a norm and called for multi-sectoral support from the government, the private sector, and communities.
The initiative aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s vision of youth as key partners in nation-building and concluded with a call for unity in nurturing future leaders.
