TRUMP ESCAPES ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

Former President Donald Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman shot him in the ear, leaving blood visible on his face. 

The shooter, 20 year old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who is a registered republican, was killed along with a bystander, while two others were critically injured 

 President Joe Biden condemned the violence, calling it “sick,” and pledged to receive a security briefing following the incident. 

The shooting has heightened political tensions ahead of the upcoming presidential election, drawing global condemnation and sparking debates about security and political rhetoric in the United States.
