Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino reminded voters during his campaign sorties in Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog to prioritize integrity, track record, and a clear platform when choosing candidates.
Speaking in Porac, Pampanga, Tanauan, Batangas, and Biñan, Laguna, he emphasized that the daily concerns of ordinary Filipinos are universal, including the need for a comfortable life, education, and gainful employment.
Tolentino, running under the administration-backed Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas ticket, stressed that leaders must align with the aspirations of the Filipino people.
He also highlighted his initiatives, such as Senate Bill No. 2970, which seeks to exempt electricity and internet from VAT, and the Philippine Maritime Zones Act, which strengthens the country’s territorial rights.
The mid-term elections are set for May 12.
