A total of 26 cities and 12 municipalities will vie for The Manila Times (TMT) Philippine Model Cities and Municipalities 2024 Awards, co-presented by Punongbayan & Araullo (P&A) Grant Thornton and Megaworld Corp.
The themed “Reinventing, reinvigorating urban living” awards ceremony and forum will take place on September 19 at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria.
P&A Grant Thornton, through Vice Chairman Olivier Aznar, has partnered with TMT to highlight transformative urban initiatives in sustainability and digital innovation.
The judging panel includes notable figures such as Felino Palafox Jr., Mai Sigue-Bisnar, and Sheila Lobien, assessing entries across 15 categories including infrastructure, education, and economic growth.
The event will feature key speakers including Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco and UN Sasakawa laureate Glenn Banaguas, with major sponsors including PHirst and Wilcon Depot.
