Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps) can now join the Social Security System (SSS) under a new agreement between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and SSS, signed to provide long-term financial security.
The “4Ps AlkanSSSya Program” will offer low-cost insurance and a specific contribution subsidy table for 4Ps beneficiaries, allowing them to become SSS pensioners with a minimum monthly contribution of P570.
Participation in the program is voluntary, with efforts focused on educating beneficiaries about the value of insurance and pensions.
The SSS will facilitate registration and orientation during regular family development sessions and exit programs.
As of May 31, around 4.3 million households received conditional cash grants under the 4Ps program.
