Sarah Lahbati paid tribute to her late sister-in-law Alexa Gutierrez, who passed away from leukemia on July 27.
In an Instagram Story, Lahbati expressed her sorrow and disbelief, calling Alexa her “sestra” and sharing fond memories.
Alexa’s inurnment took place on August 1 after a wake held from July 29 to 31 at Santuario De San Antonio in Makati City.
Despite her estrangement from the Gutierrez family due to her separation from actor Richard Gutierrez, Lahbati mourned Alexa’s loss deeply.
Alexa, married to Richard’s brother Elvis Gutierrez, was publicly known to be battling leukemia since January 2024.
