The Philippine delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 aims to secure sustained investments to boost competitiveness and sustainability, according to Speaker Martin Romualdez.
He emphasized that the country’s participation in this year’s forum aligns with its commitment to fostering collaboration and driving inclusive development.
Romualdez noted that WEF 2025, themed “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” offers an opportunity to showcase the Philippines’ resilience and innovation.
Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, as the Special Envoy of President Marcos, will engage international partners to attract investments in key sectors, including AI and financial inclusion.
Romualdez also highlighted the importance of capitalizing on past successes, such as the Maharlika Investment Fund, to further strengthen the country’s economic growth and attract more investments.
