QUEZON’S PRIVATE SCHOOL EDUCATORS RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Alona Partylist Rep. Anna Villaraza-Suarez launched the Ayuda para sa mga Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) with a cash assistance event for 600 teaching and non-teaching personnel from private schools in Quezon’s first district.

The program, which continued with payouts for 761 and 500 recipients in the fourth and third districts respectively, culminated in a distribution of cash aid to 1,480 recipients in the second district.

Suarez doubled the expected aid amount to P3,000 per recipient, totaling P20.046 million.

She emphasized that the program supports private school teachers who lack vacation salaries and assured beneficiaries that AKAP will be repeated next year.

Beneficiaries were also enrolled in new support services provided by Alona Partylist and other local offices.
