President Marcos denied accusations by his sister, Sen. Imee Marcos, who alleged on live television that he, First Lady Liza Marcos, and their children are drug addicts.
He described her statements as not reflective of the person he knows, saying family and friends are worried about her well-being.
Marcos noted that he and Imee no longer engage in the same political or social circles, and he declined to elaborate on her condition.
Imee dismissed her brother’s remarks, challenging him to prove her wrong and offering to undergo a DNA test if the family submits to drug testing.
The feud has sparked public exchanges, with Malacañang calling Imee’s allegations a “desperation move” and citing Marcos’ negative drug test in 2021.
