The Philippine National Police is preparing contingency plans in case the International Criminal Court issues a warrant of arrest for Sen. Ronald dela Rosa over his role in the Duterte administration’s drug war, PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III confirmed, though he declined to elaborate.
Torre also called on former Duterte spokesman Harry Roque to return to the country and face a qualified human trafficking case linked to a POGO hub in Pampanga.
Roque, who is seeking asylum in The Hague, was among those ordered arrested by a local court based on probable cause.
Meanwhile, a migrant group in the Netherlands condemned a pro-Duterte photo exhibit visited by Vice President Sara Duterte, calling it an insult to the victims of the drug war.
The group urged The Hague to investigate how the exhibit was approved, warning against the use of public spaces to glorify alleged human rights violators.
