The Philippine National Police (PNP) has added over P553 million worth of vehicles and machine guns to its assets, significantly enhancing its operational capacity.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. inspected the newly acquired equipment during the 123rd Police Service Anniversary at Camp Crame.
The new assets include 20 personnel carriers, 299 light motorcycles, 193 light transport vehicles, 75 patrol jeeps, and 155 light machine guns.
These upgrades were funded through the PNP’s Capability Enhancement Program from 2022 to 2024.
PNP Chief Police General Rommel Marbil emphasized that these additions will improve the force’s ability to respond effectively and ensure community safety.
