Vice President Sara Duterte retains the most extensive security detail compared to her predecessors, despite the recent pullout of 75 police escorts, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil stated that 31 policemen are still assigned to the Office of the Vice President, ensuring robust security.
Marbil explained that the adjustments reflect the need to deploy more police on the ground in Metro Manila while maintaining sufficient security for Duterte.
The 75 policemen were reassigned to the National Capital Region Police Office.
Marbil assured that the PNP remains committed to providing top-tier security services for the Vice President across the country.
