Gilas Pilipinas Women secured a spot in the FIBA 3×3 Women’s World Cup after defeating host team Singapore, 21–10, in the qualifying tournament at The Kallang.
The Philippine squad, composed of Kacey Dela Rosa, Afril Bernardino, Tantoy Ferrer, and Mikka Cacho under coach Anton Altamirano, finished as the third-best team with a 2–2 record.
Gilas bounced back from an opening loss to Brazil before clinching key wins, including a decisive victory over Singapore to secure the final World Cup slot.
Dela Rosa led the team with 11 points, while Bernardino and Cacho added four points each, and Ferrer contributed two points in the clincher.
This marks Gilas’ first World Cup qualification through the qualifying route, earning them a second overall appearance in the global 3×3 stage.
