Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched its direct flights from Manila to Da Nang, Vietnam, marking its third major route expansion in the country this year.
The inaugural flight, PR585, departed with 199 passengers aboard an Airbus A321 and offers both business and economy class options.
PAL now operates 24 non-stop weekly flights to Vietnam, serving Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.
PAL President Richard Nuttall highlighted the strong ties between the Philippines and Vietnam, inviting Vietnamese travelers to explore the Philippines’ 7,000+ islands.
Flights to Da Nang will run thrice weekly and are set to increase to four times a week by November 2025.
