The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) praised the government for its strong support of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup (FFWWC) 2025, scheduled in Pasig City from November 21 to December 7.
PFF president John Anthony Gutierrez expressed gratitude during the FFWWC draw ceremony held at the BGC Arts Center.
In July, President Marcos issued Administrative Order No. 35, creating an Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) led by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) to oversee the event’s planning and execution.
Gutierrez highlighted the vital role of the PSC and its chairman, Patrick Gregorio, in coordinating government agencies, local units, and private stakeholders.
The PSC, PFF, and IATF have been collaborating for months, culminating in the recent draw ceremony attended by FIFA officials and representatives from the 16 participating countries.
