Malacañang assured the public that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. remains healthy and energetic amid viral social media posts claiming his gums were bleeding during a recent speech.
The video from Marcos’ April 9 address at Camp Aguinaldo sparked speculation about his health.
Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro dismissed the rumors, stating that the President is physically fit and actively participates in early morning meetings.
Castro added that Marcos is alert and engaged during Cabinet discussions, showing no signs of poor health.
In addition to the Camp Aguinaldo event, the President also attended two other public engagements that day, indicating he remains active and capable.
