The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will construct P1.8 billion worth of housing for informal settler families in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon this year.
Regional DPWH offices have been tasked to oversee the Comprehensive and Integrated Housing Program (CIHP) and resettlement projects of the National Housing Authority, funded under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
In Metro Manila, three projects worth P700 million will be implemented in San Juan, Manila, and Navotas, while Calabarzon will see multi-purpose buildings in Rosario, Naic, and Bacoor.
Central Luzon will host a P300-million resettlement building in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon said regional offices must coordinate with the NHA and other agencies to ensure smooth project implementation.
