Bella Belen’s legacy was honored as National University retired her No. 4 jersey during a ceremony held at SM Mall’s Asia Music Hall in Pasay.
Considered the greatest Bulldog ever, Belen led the Lady Bulldogs to eight championships and earned five MVP awards throughout her career.
NU chairman Hans Sy spearheaded the jersey retirement event, marking the end of an era for the team alongside long-time partner Alyssa Solomon.
The ceremony was also attended by key university officials, including NU president Dr. Renato Carlos Ermita Jr. and team manager Bing Diet.
Belen’s remarkable achievements have left an indelible mark on NU and the entire UAAP community.
