The Navotas City government, in partnership with Valenzuela Medical Center, held a mass blood donation drive on July 17 as part of the National Voluntary Blood Services Program.
The City Health Office promoted the event to ensure a safe and sufficient blood supply in local blood banks while raising awareness about the benefits of regular blood donation.
The drive took place at the Navotas City Hall lobby, where many residents participated.
Additional blood donation events are scheduled in Barangay Tanza 2, San Jose Academy, Barangay Tanza 1, and Bangkulasi Elementary School throughout August.
The local government encourages healthy individuals to join the campaign and contribute to saving lives through this simple act of generosity.
