At 78, veteran director and star-maker Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan has partnered with MQuest Ventures and MQuest Artists Agency (MQAA) to develop and promote world-class Filipino talent.
The contract signing, held at the TV5 Media Center on Nov. 6, was attended by industry leaders, including Manny V. Pangilinan, Jane Basas, and other executives of MediaQuest and Cignal TV.
Under the partnership, Mr. M has been tasked with building a world-class, “in-your-face” artist center to discover, train, and elevate performers across multiple platforms.
The collaboration coincides with Mr. M’s ongoing musical-variety program “Vibe,” which provides fan-driven exposure for emerging and established artists.
This partnership is expected to usher in a new era for Filipino talent, combining Mr. M’s decades of mentorship with MQuest’s resources to showcase artists on a national and potentially global stage.
