The Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) coalition has warned against any extra-constitutional moves that could destabilize the Philippines, emphasizing that public frustration over corruption must not justify unlawful actions.
In a statement, the group cited recent scandals, including mismanaged projects and alleged misuse of public funds, as legitimate sources of citizen anger but stressed that addressing wrongdoing must follow due process.
M4GG urged leaders and the public to act responsibly, relying on verified facts and respecting democratic institutions to restore trust.
The coalition reaffirmed its commitment to promoting constitutional governance, integrity, and accountability in public service.
Key members include Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
