Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has issued a strict warning against noisy motorcycle mufflers, ordering immediate confiscation of illegal exhausts to reduce community disturbance.
He exempted motorcycles with engines of 400cc and above but emphasized zero tolerance for loud noise violations.
The mayor also vowed to intensify efforts to hunt down criminals hiding or operating in Manila, assuring that offenders will be pursued and held accountable.
Authorities recently arrested the National Capital Region’s most wanted murder suspect and other criminals involved in violent incidents.
Additionally, the city government, in partnership with Leonel Waste Management, collected nearly 20 tons of garbage from the Philippine General Hospital and plans to disinfect the area to prevent health risks.
