Makati City has launched the “Visit a Better Makati” tourism campaign to attract more visitors and showcase the city’s unique blend of cultural heritage and modern amenities.
Mayor Abby Binay announced that the city will distribute discount vouchers to visitors from its sister cities, offering up to 60% off at participating hotels, restaurants, bars, and spas.
The campaign also includes free walking tours of key sites like the Central Business District, Poblacion Heritage Sites, and local markets.
The initiative aims to highlight both Makati’s advancements in public service and its appeal as a destination where leisure and business intersect.
Since August 2022, Makati has hosted 48 local government units to share best practices and showcase its improvements.
