MARCOS CHALLENGES QUIBOLOY TO ADDRESS ALLEGATIONS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. challenged Apollo Quiboloy to face accusations of human trafficking and child sexual abuse, calling him a “fugitive” hiding from the law.

This follows the announcement of a P10 million bounty by private individuals for information leading to Quiboloy’s arrest.

Marcos defended the acceptance of these private donations, stating they aid in bringing a fugitive to justice.

Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos noted the donors’ frustration with the slow progress in Quiboloy’s cases, which have been moved to a Quezon City court.

Former president Rodrigo Duterte’s remarks about knowing Quiboloy’s whereabouts led to controversy, with the Philippine National Police considering an obstruction of justice charge, which Duterte’s allies dismissed as a joke.
