Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla returned to public duties on Wednesday, overseeing the signing of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Rules on Criminal Investigation at Malacañang after a prolonged absence due to health issues.
According to DOJ spokesperson Jose Dominic Clavano IV, Remulla’s recovery from complications following heart bypass surgery has been positive, aided by a strict diet to improve his health.
Remulla’s last public appearance was in March when he announced legal actions against Apollo Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Clavano noted that Remulla had been working from home, occasionally receiving visits in his home office.
